About Elizabeth
I believe that therapy is a personal journey and vulnerable process. I emphasize the importance of creating a safe, non-judgmental environment of trust and support in order to nurture the ability to explore and resolve personal struggles.
Through the development of a collaborative relationship, I will assist you in gaining increased insight into the relationship between your feelings, thoughts, and actions, and your capacity to achieve desired change and personal balance.
Our work together will address the root causes of the symptoms and not simply the symptoms alone — which contributes to long-lasting healing, change, and growth.
In my practice I provide therapeutic intervention to adolescents and adults struggling with mood difficulties, adjustment difficulties, interpersonal conflicts, and histories of trauma and abuse. I am available Monday through Thursday by appointment.
Areas of Focus
Therapeutic Approach
Elizabeth draws on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Person-Centered Therapy to tailor treatment to each individual. Rather than a one-size-fits-all approach, she looks at the full picture — symptoms, history, lifestyle, and goals — adjusting the plan based on your response and always communicating clearly so care feels personalized and effective.
